B&B Molo
The longest Pier in Europe.
Sopot is famous for it’s longest pier in Europe, which reaches 511.5 meters into the sea. It is a popular walking spot. In the furthest end of the pier iodine concentration is twice as high as on land. The view of Polish Baltic horizon is not without significance. On the pier there is also a yaht marina and a water tram check-in.
Monte Cassino
MONTE CASSINO so called “Monciak” is the most famous street in Sopot. It geographically “crosses” Sopot in line with the pier. It is the main meeting place for both tourists and residents of the entire Tri-City. It is a 600-meter pedestraian full of boutiques, cafes, restaurants and clubs. One of the most interesting buildings here is so called Crooked House. The building refers to the drawings of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg – Swedish cartoonist, resident of Sopot. The building gained fame since 2004 and it is one of the most photographed in Sopot.
Fisherman's Harbor
Fisherman’s Harbor has been operational since 13th century. In the beginning it located close to Sopot pier. With the expansion of the city, it was moved to the mouth of the Karlikowski Stream. In 2007 the yaht marina was modernized and expanded. Presently, in the early morning you can buy fresh and smoked fish there. Nearby there is also the Fisheries Mini Museum.
ERGO ARENA
It is a sports and entertainment hall that with seats for 15,000 viewers. The hall is located on the noteworthy Square of Two Cities, i.e. at the meeting point of Gdańsk and Sopot. The most popular cultural and sporting events are held here, among others Indoor World Athletics Championships. In 2019, the city of Sopot launched the Eco Parking project in Ergo Arena, i.e. it provided 700 parking spaces for tourists during the summer.
